We'll Be Back After Easter!

I have given up online time for Lenten sacrifice, so we will be back after Easter and I will have the lifts up and decide whether we will continue this blog at that time. It seems that it hasn't been drawing the participants it used to, so perhaps it's run it's course? 

Anyways - thank you to all of you who have sent me your layouts - they will be up after Easter  - they're gorgeous! :)

You Still Have Time - The lift is 2 weeks long!!!!

Our lifts are going for 2 weeks now, so if you thought you were too late - you're not. Please come and join us and lift Chris - she's such a talent and she's offered a small prize for one lucky person!!! Get your lifts in!!

Week of February 1, 2009 - Scrappinpeep's "This Smile"

Here we go - it's now February of 2009 - can you believe it?? We have a new year, a new President and now a new lift! I hope you enjoy this one as much as I will trying to make my own masterpiece with this beautiful layout!

This layout is so colorful and fun! LOVE the drop shadows that she used - it looks like you could just pick it up off the monitor and feel the dimension!  I will have to work hard on that - I'm not the best on realistic shadows. It's one of my goals this year - to not just use the default in Photoshop.

It is also a lift of Cheryl (Gonewiththewind) and when I find the link to it, I will link it here as well. My computer is giving me fits tonight and will not connect with the link in Chris's gallery post!! LOL

The Lift Guidelines: 

1. Post your layout up on the web where ever you'd like, with a link to it in the comments here. I would like to have it by Friday night so that I can get all the lifts up in a photo album on Saturday and then be ready to start the new one on Sunday. I will choose one layout that I found especially beautiful or just knocks my socks off and they will be featured on Saturday in the wrap up. 

2. I will set up a photo album here and post all the lifts on the blog in the photo album at the end of each week. 

3. Each lift will be featured on the blog for one week. I don't ever CLOSE the lifts, they'll always be available and I'll upload any latecomers when I get them. The photo albums will remain on the site. 

4. If you're a designer and you'd like to donate a prize for the chosen layout at the end of the week - I'm open to it! ;-) Ok, ready, get set...SCRAP!!!!!!
